Cielo de Bonaire is a lavish mega-mansion on the island of Mallorca, Spain. The home is perched on a hillside between the bays of Alcúdia and Pollensa for sweeping ocean views. The London Times first checked out the home in 2007 noting the helipad, the neo-Palladian-meets-modern design scheme and the pool with views to the sea beyond. The listing pics reveal a bit of a chilly decor with expensive pieces of modern furniture adrift in large marble-floored spaces. When the Times writer questioned this back in 2007 she was told by the agent that the home is designed for someone who wants "a holiday home, but not a palace".

The villa has a two-bedroom master suite among its eight bedrooms. There is a sybaritic Turkish bath, plenty of room for outdoor lounging and dining in both covered and open areas, and a Jacuzzi tub by a window framing the perfect view. This home is listed at 50 million euros (over $70 million).

Florida-based Magnum, founded in 1966, is dedicated to making "sexy, high-end speedboats on a grand scale." The hand-laminated, high performance craft is powered by twin 2400 hp MTU diesels producing a top speed of about 60 mph. Even at that velocity its deep-V hull "cuts through the waves like a knife, making for a smooth, comfortable and quiet ride even in adverse sea conditions." The boat's interiors are extremely spacious and features tons of teak, large open spaces and two VIP cabins with en-suite baths, copious living and dining areas and crew accommodations.

New Zealander Roy Stewart has designed a $20,000 Makaha surfboard (above) made of 400 individually crafted pieces of empress wood. The handmade, limited edition surfboard is "museum quality", but designed to be used. The 12"9" Makaha is modeled on the olo boards once reserved for royalty among Polynesian natives. It's incredibly flexible and accelerates in the water aided by a Vort-X tunnel fin for serious performance and speed, yet, Stewart notes, it is "extremely forgiving and easy to ride, just as comfortable cruising small waves as it is racing large ones." The Makaha has a three-month lead time for delivery but includes a custom travel bag.

I'm en route to the airport for a long-awaited trip overseas, but felt obligated to beat the hell outta this dead horse and encourage everyone to vote in this historical election! I voted early this morning at the LA Registrar Office, located in Norwalk. It was easy and painless, and went faster than I'd expected (in line by 7:45am, in and out in ~one hour). If you're like me, I requested a absentee ballot, but didn't get it in time. High voter turnout is expected for 11/4, so vote early if you can to avoid long lines, time constraints, or last minute emergencies.

Magic show Las Vegas

We geared up and shot out to Magic to showcase our new collections to buyers around the world.. It was a great time and productive trip. It was good to see some of the familiar faces from the industry and put'em up on game with Cerbae and the new elements we're applying to the brand.
Cerbae continues to be a leader in intriguing ideas and concepts so go check out the new lines dropping this month, you'll like what you see! We also launched our new competition based line "War Paint", based around the idea of the modern day warrior the line is pulling inspiration from full contact sports and action figures from around the world. War Paint is a beast, so make sure you look out for that!

I only got a blank stare in return...apparently he didn't rush home to watch after-school tv show like I did. Anyone remember the rumor that that kid Jamie was Billy Corgan? Ha. Man, pop culture was obsessed w/ robots in the late 80's/90's. I wanted one, or at least a ruffle dress like Vicki

Desperately, I make the 1/2 block walk to the corner store/"deli" for a savior. A sandwich. I try to forget the handful of other times I've been in the same situation and let the f**k down; desperate, hungry, and trying to avoid the Burrito spot across the street. The "deli's" pre-made sandwiches seem harmless, but it's truly a surprise how nasty they really are. $6 for this sh*t is immoral...and I only end up eating the meat.

Last Friday got a text,
Tiff: "Hey, wanna go to a porn party tonight?"
Me: "Ha, Fuck ya!"

Cut to later that night, Me and my girl Tiff rolled out to VICE, yet another spot in Hollywood I've never been to nor heard of. Open bar got us there early, were we enjoyed a few Montecristo rum & cokes before 10:30 (good thing...explain later).

It took forever for things to get cracking, guess porn stars don't come out til' after 11. The crowd was...colorful; lots of silicone and g-strings sprinkled around. Not as "porny" as I would have expected tho...

Jetted outta there close to 2, just as things were getting raunchy. Tiff and I hopped in my ride and pulled off, only to get stopped 2.5 block later by one of these.
Apparently, I had "crossed a double yellow line", so he and this 3 moto friends just wanted to make everything was ok. Flash lights in the face, overt smelling of the breath, rapid-fire questions, "watch my pen" sobriety check...we were let go. Had to get out of the car and everything. I can't lie, it scared the shit outta me. "No officer, we haven't been drinking...I only had 2 rum and cokes."

Luckily I had been a responsible chica that night and stopped drinking after the open bar ran out. DUI's are not sexy, and Hollywood PD is on the hunt.

Stayed low-key the rest of the weekend...boring stuff like car repair and such. Ever get your Honda serviced at the Wilcox/Santa Monica station, give Danny in the office a holla.
...you know you got good friends if they get up to pick ur ass up before 9am on a Sat. And be warned, Doughboys @ Lexington has big coffee and takes forever for your food...

Delayed by a few days, but last weekend was quite the time.

On Sat, I peeked on over to a lil' town called Whittier (off the 60 fwy folks) for a 2nd & 26th bday celebration. My BFF's family always throws down for the fiestas.
'Little Mermaid" pinata on a warm Saturday = Good times (this was for the 26 yr old). They didn't have a tree to hang it from, so they got creative...it involved rope, a brick wall, a couple of roofs, and a "Spider Tio" theme song.
This cake...I can't even put it to words. ::insert Homer drool::

Had to dip out of the party early, had to get back to some work. Planned on getting caught up on the misc on Sunday; work, laundry, etc...but apparently E had some other plans for me.
Finally made my way across the LA River bridge to hang w/ E and the crew at Jake's rooftop. Got there @ sunset when things were dying down, but it was still a sa-weet way to end the weekend.

E had to make the walk home shirtless...someone straight jack-moved his ass. But someone came up on a brand new Arch Rival shirt. yoink.

Good times, feeling the summer vibes...and it ain't even Memorial Day yet.

Went to the Remy Martin/ David Lachapelle bottle release party last night at Smashbox Studios in Hollywood. I didn't know what to expect, I was originally going hoping to see some photos. I was wrong it was more of a full on party, no photos at all. Oh well at least there was free food and just about all the cognac and champagne you can drink. Good times for sure.

Last week me and the boys attempted to go to the LRG pop-up store party over on La Brea. We didn't get in. Since we were out, headed up to Hollywood instead. Ducked into a bar (Boardner's?) on Cherokee for a hot second. Tossed back a few Blue Moons, then headed over to Crimson.

The party before hand must have been a wild one, cuz there was a lot of older drunk white folks still perusing through the club by the time we got in. One aggressive lady had a handful of drink tickets, she gave them out who she deemed fit.

Got the best kind last minute call last night. My friend, we'll just call him "Tim" had an extra ticket to the Jay Z/Mary J. Blige with my name all over it. Made the quick change and drove from the East side up to Hollywood in record time...only to get stuck in the nasty that is Hollywood Bowl traffic (fuck you!). Funny how I lived in that area for 4+ years up until recently, and I didn't have a better strategy.
My friend and I finally got inside (after one more sale on the way in), and MJB was already on.

This women's music has def been around most of my life, and it was sweet seeing her do tha damn thing. Occasional sour note and all, that's just Mary ;0).

No intermission, and the H2theizzO was on.

Nice look for Crooks. A few songs in, he took it back to basics in a plain white tee.
It's crazy how many hits this man has. He couldn't perform them all, and had a lil' banter w/ Dj Neil Armstrong to showoff his catalog. I can't even lie, I got all ghetto-hype on a few songs, "99 Problems" being one of them. BTW, I did look, no ring, but he's too smart for that anyways.

The hits kept coming. The crowed joined in to flip off a Jumbotron'd Dub-Ya, and then a subtle endorsement for Obama...

Gotta love the 1st amendment.

On that contact high from all the bud smoking going on, I wasn't even trying to mess w/ my camera settings, hence the blurry shots. Overall, it was a good show, def on the "Grown-up" tip though. Chilling in the boxes was great, felt sorry for the suckers in the back, The Bowl is huge.

Real hip hop is getting it's swagger back. I don't know about you but hip hop lost me a while back? It got a little too hitec, preachy and backpacky for me of course with some exceptions? The most action packed fight was won by Jorge Lopez over Wayne Phillips in the 185 lb. division by unanimous decision. Lopez exhibited excellent technique & what could be called a flawless game plan had the fight not ended in a decision.
