Fashion Week

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week has been in full swing (3/9-15) and I managed to squeeze in a show last night. Last min call from my PR buddy Candice, I headed down to the glorious Culver City to Smashbox studios. Long lines, free booze, and open seating, we finally got in.

The show started about 30min late...that'd been fine if they hadn't closed the bar 30min too early.

It was a menswear line, simple silhouettes and lots of custom pieces; suit blazers, vests, etc. A drummer and guitarist provided the live music, which added a nice element to the show (thanks for the ear plugs, Mercedes!).



The show was cool...motivating if nothing else.


It ain't New York Fashion Week, but it's all we got.
Right?
